Mobo Awards 2016
I attended the 2016 pre mobo awards last night at the Cadogan hall sloane square; with several other industry professionals such as Maxwell, Shakka, Abrantee, Remel London, DJ Cuppy, Mr Eazi, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Faith Child, and many more. It started with a cocktail networking hour before the show, which was hosted by China Moses and Lemar started.
I settled in with my popcorn and watched the talented artists such as Ayanna Witter-Johnson, Shan Smile, Temi Dollface, Volney Morgan and New Ye, grace the stage before the awards started. Followed closely by the talented saxophonist Mike Aremu and many more.
But my favourite part of the night was perhaps Moelogo's live performance of Ireti, it was absolutely incredible, so much so that he got a standing ovation. He's one to watch I tell you.
Unfortunately I'm not able to make it down to Glasgow for the Mobo 21st anniversary and the main show this year, but hopefully I will next year.
